Abstract provides a free of charge, 12 month extended parts and labour warranty on selected products. To register and claim, your product must be eligible. See a list below of products available for our extended warranty.

The legal bit... It's actually quite simple.
The warranty period starts from the date of purchase, an invoice from your retailer is a great way of proving this. The standard manufactures warranty ends 12 months later from the date of purchase. By registering your product(s) within 60 days after the invoice date, you will receive an additional 12 months warranty [24 months max combined total].

All warranty claims are covered for parts and labour repairs. In the case that your product is beyond economical repair, a brand new item will be issued for replacement.

Booking a warranty repair
To book your products in for a repair, you will need to visit our repairs section within this website. See link: https://www.abstract.co.uk/repairs
Here you will be guided through the different options available to you.

To book a warranty repair you will need to provide your Unique Warranty Number (UWN). You will have obtained a UWN when completing your warranty registration form online. Our warranty team will need a valid UWN to be able to approve any warranty repair booking. Without a UWN number we cannot authorise any repairs covered by Abstracts extended warranty.

Shipping
As part of our free warranty we ask our customers to cover the cost of any shipping of goods back to our repairs facility. Once your repairs have been carried out, we will send your product(s) back to you free of charge on our Next Day Delivery service*.

*Next Day Delivery service is available Monday - Thursday. A Saturday delivery service is available on Fridays for an additional fee covered by the customer. A quote can be provided for a Saturday Delivery on request.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that their products arrive to us in a respectable manor. Any damages occurred by shipping companies within this delivery lies with the customers responsibility for safe delivery. Abstract reserves the right to reject any deliveries within 24 hours that have been damaged in transit. In this rare scenario, the customer responsible for returns delivery will need to contact their shipping company to mediate or to arrange a claim. Abstract does not accept any responsibility for damages incurred with transit of returns deliveries.

Warranty exclusions
Abstract reserves the right to inspect your products for any signs of damage that are not covered within the manufactures warranty. These might include:

  • Alterations or modifications
  • Tampering
  • Self repair attempts
  • Liquid damage (non ip-rated products)
  • Impact & physical damage
  • Bodywork scratches, dents & imperfections
  • Signs of operation beyond products limitations and intended use
  • Unsuitable physical or operating environment
  • Incorrect wiring causing component failure
  • Signs of non genuine parts

General Terms
By registering your products for extended warranty you agree to the terms set out within online document. Abstract reserves the right to protect itself, where necessary, against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further validation as to the identity of the claimant and the quality of purchase being genuine.

Abstract shall not be liable to any interruptions or delays when carrying out warranty repairs and is not responsible for any loss of earnings caused by our products malfunction.

Abstract reserves the right to alter any guidelines within this document.
